Stiff Diagrams Placed on the Map, at the Wells They Came From
A Stiff diagram tells you what kind of water a well produces. A page of Stiff diagrams tells you nothing about where those waters are. Placing each polygon at its own well turns a table of major ions into a picture of how water type changes across a site — which is the thing the diagram was invented to show and the thing almost nobody draws.

A made-up site: Kestrel Lane Terminal does not exist. Fifteen wells sampled on 2026-03-14 for the major ions, on a local grid in metres. The background wells give ordinary calcium-bicarbonate water; along the fuel plume the alkalinity roughly triples and the sulfate is gone, MW-08D is a deep companion four metres from MW-08 and still gives background water, and MW-04's analysis does not balance and says so on the figure.
