Hydraulic Gradient Calculator — the Three-Point Problem, Worked
The number that goes in the report text rather than on the figure. Give it three wells and it is the classic three-point problem with a closed-form answer; give it more and it is a least-squares plane through all of them. Either way the working is shown — because a gradient quoted with no method behind it is a number a reviewer has to take on trust, and this one does not ask them to.
Drop a CSV or an Excel file of your wells here
One row per well, with coordinates and whatever you want mapped. It is read in this tab and never uploaded.
Three wells from a made-up site — Kestrel Lane Terminal does not exist — gauged 2026-03-14 on a local grid in metres. The file carries a top-of-casing elevation and a depth to water rather than a groundwater elevation; that column is computed here.
Or paste the rows
Copy a block straight out of a spreadsheet — tabs, commas and semicolons all work, and you do not have to tell us which. A workbook you dropped appears here as text; editing it re-reads it as text.
