What this costs

Every map on this site is free right now, on your own files, with nothing stamped across the figures. When there is something to buy it will be one payment — no subscription, no renewal and no account, because there is no account to renew against.

Everything is free while we launch

Nothing on this site is behind a payment. There is no checkout, no card field and no account anywhere in it.

The features in the Pro column are marked with a Pro chip where they appear, and every one of them works today at no cost. The chip is a price list arriving early, not a locked door.

Anything in the Free column stays free forever. That is a promise about this list, not about a trial period.

We don’t charge per figure because we can’t see your figures.

What Pro will cost

Prices shown are what Pro will cost after launch.

Pro

Free while we launch

$129

one payment · 12 months

Twelve months of everything in the Pro column. After that it lapses and the free maps keep working.

Pro, for good

Free while we launch

$249

one payment · never expires

The same, with no expiry — including maps not drawn yet.

Team

Free while we launch

$599

one payment · lifetime, 5 seats

For a firm rather than a person. One payment, no expiry, five people licensed.

This licence covers 5 installations. Nothing counts them — a key works in any browser it is pasted into — so the number is what was bought rather than a limit we enforce.

Questions

Can I use this for client work right now, for nothing?
Yes. Every map on the site draws from your own file today, at full resolution, with no watermark across it and no account. The only mark on a free export is the credit line in the bottom margin, outside the drawing.
Is any of this a subscription?
No. The annual licence is one payment covering twelve months, after which it lapses and the free maps keep working. The other two are one payment and never lapse. Nothing renews by itself, because there is no account for it to renew against.
What is a seat, if nothing counts them?
A licence key is a string you paste in, and it works in any browser you paste it into — there is no device binding and nothing phones home. The five-seat licence is what a firm buys so that five people are properly licensed; it is an honest count rather than an enforced one, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
What happens to my well data?
Nothing. It is read in your browser tab and never sent anywhere — there is no server to send it to. That is also why the price list has no per-figure or per-site line on it.
Where does my well file go?
Nowhere. The privacy page shows how to check that rather than asking you to take our word for it, and help@gridlad.com answers anything it does not.
